Ammar Hammad Khan was born in Mullingar, Westmeath, Ireland, in 1998, and has resided in Ireland, England, Isle of Man, Netherlands, and Pakistan. He is a sole citizen of Ireland, and a former citizen of Pakistan. He was educated at Ballakermeen High School in the Isle of Man (KS3), Lahore Grammar School in Pakistan (GCE Cantab.), and Queen Mary University of London in England (LL.B. Hons. Lond.). He gained the highest marks in the world for English General Paper in his Cambridge A-Levels, a Silver Medal at the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition, and previously served as his high school’s English Literary Society President. He has been previously published by a variety of reputable organisations, including HarperCollins, India, and Isle of Man Today. He is interested in English law and English literature, and currently works as an assistant examiner for English General Paper with Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a department of the University of Cambridge.
